Intel are poised to launch the E8600 in the next few weeks. Clocked at 3.33GHZ it will be the last and fastest CPU before the launch of 'Core i7'.

Those CPUs have hit 6GHz on air (to my understanding), but with a 1.6v core, so it is stuffed in absolutely no time at all.

Well 6GHZ is OK for 'extreme' overclockers but I'd be happy with a real world 4.5GHZ any day. Mind you, they did use a new P45 mobo... :roll:

I thinks its 5ghz on air dutch, but yes great little cpu that and i think for all the gamers out there dualcore is still better on the higher clocks.
