Windows XP Pro - Hit F6 ?

Afternoon All
I am imminently intending to load Windows XP Pro on to my Homebuild Rig.

I am using A IDE cable for my DVD R/W, and a SATA cable for a single HDD.

Will I need to hit the F6 button to download SATA drivers to a floppy disc, or is that only if I have a RAID configuration? The guides I have read seem to be vauge on this

Only for raid configs. So no need to press f6.

you might do, it depends what sata controller your motherbaord has. try the install first, if it comes up saying there is no hard drive you will need to load the drivers. if the install starts ok you wont need the drivers.
