Just installed it, nice easy user interface, and really does need a decent spec as on this (Sempron 2400+ / 400 mhz 512mb ddr / 6800GT) its running really sluggish. AND it tells you it is too via a special performance tool

Npz i have changed my HDD to an ATA drive.
Vista is now installed.. pretty good OS.. lots of new features + gadgets.
Sytem is a bit sluggish
AMD Athlon 3200+
1gb Samsung ram
120gb ata hdd
asus a7n8x-e deluxe mobo
geforce fx5200 128mb gpu
Sitting on the desktop doing nothing, the system uses 510mb++ which is quite high.
I think overall Windows VISTA will be a good OS when its released :D
Pros:
Looks better
Seems to be a bit more user friendly for the novice users, but theres much more settings for complex users aswell.
Love the new gadgets
Cons:
Need a powerful system to get it to run smooth
At the moment theres driver problems ( S-ata + audio drivers i need)
a few bugs + blue screens
But overall, as its the BETA version, i think its pretty impressive!

Can anyone send me the 64-bit version? I downloaded the 32-bit, but I am upgrading to a 4-bit chip and they have stopped letting people download. I tried to pm people who said they had it but it said pm's were disabled. Can anyone help?

That'll be no-one then? I read earlier on in the thread that a few people were prepared to send it out, as the licence was for 10 people or whatever. Obviously I was wrong.....

I have the 32 bit version, I think someone here did have the 64 version but if they don't always look on here then they might not be aware you need it!
