Microphone problem

Hi All,

I have just bought a microphone for my PC

Polaris ST6 CPU core 2
OS XP home
Mem 2048

but i cant get it to work. I have Creative Inspire 5800 5.1 speakers. I am stick, please help

Have you plugged it into the pink socket at the back of the pc? Then open up your sound and audio controls in the control panel and check your settings are correct.

A little more detail is needed eg where you're plugging it and what drivers you're using.

motherboard? if its msi p35 neo2 fr then i know how ;)
