q321 optical out doesnt work

the optical conector on the side of the tv doesnt seem to work when i connect it up to my surround sound. is anyone else having problems with this or is this a known issue with hyundai?

I have tried this also again it does not work.

On my old set up i connected it to my sky box via optical cable with bothe the dvd and sky linked to the tele, this does not seem to work either.

i seems like there is a loose connection in it but most of the time it dont work.

Have you got it to work at times then?
Do you need to set the sound to come through from there or is it just automatic?

nope i think ive got it to work once for 2 seconds
