Where would I find & how do you install a wireless network card (SD IO) to this device?. Does it fit inside the the PC case or is the card attached by cable?. Thanks :?

I have done this. You need to put the wireless SDIO card into the Mio and run the supplied CD in your PC with the Mio connected by ActiveSync. This should give you a utility as well.

Thanks gwendes for your quick reply though I’m still confused. Does the SD10 card go into the slot on the top of the PC (the slot that takes the extra memory card) or do I have to take the casing apart and fit the card inside the PC similar to the way you would fit a card into a tower of a desktop?. I’ve looked for the Wireless SD10 card on NovaTechs site but can’t find them. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

The wifi card fits into the extra memory slot, but bear in mind that you cannot then add extra memory because this slot is now used, and that fitted memory is very limited on the mio (64k i think). wifi are sold by various companies i.e. spectec, sandisk, socket, etc, Sandisk used to do one with 256mb memory fitted but i believe stopped due to problems with them, also bear in mind cost of approx £55-£80 amd limitations of memory, although you can find cheaper on ebay.

Thanks for that ajcontrol. There’s a version of Skype for a pocket pc. Now I have a Sat Nav with a world telephone
