I've just ordered one of these:

Saitek GK200 Tactile Gamers Keyboard

It's only £16 and has had good reviews. I like the fact it's got a headphone and speaker jack on it. No more fiddling behind my case before I game!...

Its not at Novatech is it?

No unfortunately. I would prefer that it was as I live about a minute from the Reading branch and would've saved £4.50 on postage..

I had to order it from Eclipse Computers. I've used them before and they are very good.

mmk, i'd prefer if it was from Novatech Reading ..

There's loyalty for you!...

I must admit I order shedloads of kit from Novatech but I'll go elsewhere if I can find something cheaper or if (as in this case) Nova don't stock it.

The exceptions will always be 'major' kit, IE mobos, RAM, HDDs etc. I know that if they go wrong, I can get them replaced quickly and easily. I'm prepared to pay a slight premium for this but Nova are very competetive anyway.

Looks like they've got the Logitech 518 mouse back in stock in Portsmouth.

TBH, with that budget I'd be looking at spending the majority of the money on the mouse. The 518 is nice and is less than half of your outlay.

As for the K/B, not sure.

hmmm how about Razor DiamondBack 3G Mouse (http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/specpage.html?RAZ-DB3G#)

then i just need a keyboard for £15...

this fits in nicely by the looks of it
Logitech Media Keyboard 600 (http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/specpage.html?LOG-920031#)

I don't think you can go wrong with a Logitech K/B, we use them at work, all different models and all of them are lovely to use.

The shape of the Razer mice is a bit of a Marmite scenario. I don't mind it but my GF (who also games..yay!) doesn't like it at all, says it's too long to be comfortable. The mouse, before anyone says anything...

hmmm, my hands are kinda small, ill check for something different

The Logitechs are much more traditional in shape and I suspect you'd find them more comfortable if you have small mitts.

I don't think Novatech would let you try out a few as they'd all be packaged up. They may have a couple on display though...

ill just stick with the razer one anyway, unless the get the MX518 in stock again

Good choice my friend. I reckon you'll be well pleased with both of those.
