You should be able to connect your IDE drive and copy the data across. However, to help you further, I'll need to know what Operating System is on the IDE and Sata drives.

I'm assuming that the IDE was a system drive and that at least some of the data you wish to recover will be residing in the My Documents folder. If this is the case, you'll need to 'take ownership' of that folder to gain access to the files. The process of doing this is different for XP Home and Pro and I'd need to research what's involved with Vista but it will be possible.

Hey thanks for the info, on the IDE its XP Home i think, on SATA its Vista. And Yes mainly my 'My Documents' Folder. Also on my other card i have a WoW installer on, will i be able to get it from that?

First thing to do is connect up your IDE drive to the PC with Vista on and make sure the computer can see it. Most likely, you will be denied access to the My Documents folder. You'll need to change the permissions of that folder to see and copy the files. There is a tutorial here:

I've only ever done this with XP but the basics are the same. If you have trouble with this, you could download BartsPE boot disk (Google for this) which is basically XP on CD with a whole bunch of useful tools. I believe the File Management tools on there will ignore the permissions set and let you copy any files you like.
