2wire Wireless Router

Hi,

I have recently bought a new laptop and would like wireless internet on it.
I have an old 2wire BT1801HG wireless router that I was given, I think it's for bt broadband but I am not sure?

I curently have plusnet boradband and would either like to

1) plug the wireless router into my existing wired router (BT voyager 210)
2) use the built in modem in the wireless router, I have tried and not been able to get it to connect.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if you have an ADSL router, i believe you can only use an standard router to plug into it.

contact your ISP they may have MAC locked the ADSL router, which is why your other ADSL router doesn't work. either that or your missing a setting or special configuration.
