Hi all,

When i press the power button on my pc it starts up for a secound then dies. (lights go off) Currently to start my pc i: press the power button, quickly press the reset button for 5 mins (any less and it wont start). When i stop tapping reset it starts normally. Ive had the pc for about 4 years now, do you recon its something to do with the Lithium battery??

there are some pc's that have been running alot longer than 4 years and still work fine.
I shouldnt of thought that it was the battery.
has it taken and bumps or bangs before this started to happen, if so then one of the cables might be loose or something like that.

probably most likely to be a dodgy power supply.

You should be able to get another for about £15 or less. Even if this is ruled out to be the problem, its worth having a spare as they can die or cause a PC to be a bit flakey sometimes.

a £15 power supply would prob cause more bad than good, at least get a £40 one, then they are a tiny bit mor reliable :D
