Just a thought for , you if you get 6gb ram you will need to install vista to get the benefit of it.
Buy a retail cpu and you will get a suitable heatsink and fan with it.
Get a really good psu, I use hiper and fsp, but others are as good.

Memory is 3 or 6 GB kits. The bandwith is greater on triple channel so if you have the money go with 6Gb but 3Gb should do you plenty. If your not going to OC then the stock heatsink will be fine and as mentioned above just buy a retail 920. First thing i would do would be to OC it so i would be looking at the TRUE cooler coupled with a noctua fan. Also for PSU i would be looking at a quality 850w either from silverstone or corsair. PC power and cooling make some nice ones too. Whatever you do it wants to cost you around £100 for it to be a quality one. What size screen are your running? If it was me buying new i would get a GTX 285 for now which will kill all games on a 24" screen then add another in a year or so if you feel you need more. Vista 64 is a must though.

I agree with Brad, buying 2x GTX260 isn't really cost effective unless your getting them cheap second hand. They'll be about £200-220 each new, so two of them and you'll be into GTX295 kind of money which gives better performance on a single card. TBH a GTX285 or the new ATI 4890 rumoured to come out in April will both be enough for just about everything.

Didn't mean to sound rude or anything, its just that the post is 2 and half months old and the poster hasn't been back since the 2nd of december
