which memory ??

Hi,

I've got about 6 years old novatch lap top which still run fine , however with only 256 ram
is a bit slow now, so I want to upgrade to 1gb but have no idea which one should I buy ?
200 pins 144 pins etc etc is the any way to find out without taking old one out ?
on sticker at the back of the laptop model number is 755110
any help please

Download and run CPU-Z. Its a self contain program that is very useful for finding out what hardware you have. under the Memory tab it will give you a read out of the speed of your ram. The PC im currently on has the following reported as DRAM Frequency 300Mhz, which is 600mhz when you mutliply it by 2 to get the speed its running at. It will also give you the type of RAM you are using as well.
