ditching IE6

set up my housemates cheap £50 banger PC the other week, with Free AVG, Spybot search and destroy, every single XP update and Firefox, but he still manages to get spyware in it, argh..

I think its because he launches his hotmail account from MSN, even though Firefox is set as default browser (IE6 icon has been completely removed from desktop and start menu.

Is there a way of getting Hotmail to launch into another browser not IE6, without doing registry hacks?

i'm not even sure its possible WITH registry hacks!

never looked into it though, if i have a spare 5 mins tomorrow i will though
