I recently bought windows xp home SP3 (OEM) from novatech... bascially the questions are:
What does OEM mean?
How easy is this to install on my mac using bootcamp?
Since the copy of Windows XP is perfectly legitimate (as is my mac OSX leopard), is this legal?
Thanks in advance for the help!

OEM Versions of Windows are what normally come preloaded on a system. Because of that you are expected to return to the company you bought the system from for any help you need and not Microsoft. If you buy just copy then it is expected that you are supporting your self. However we are always here to help.
Also the licence is different. OEM version does not have transfer rights. Which means i can only be used with one PC and cannot be moved to a new PC when that PC is old and finished with.
For customers what direct support with MS and right to transfer software then you need to buy what we call a Retail copy, but these are much more expensive.

Not sure, don't use MAC at all

I don't see why it would'nt be. You have licenses for both OS, the question is can you get both of them to run

That sounds cool then.
I've installed windows XP before on my mac for parallels, but it was only my mate's backup disc he got from dell =/ so without the product key (which was invalid) it only lasted 30 days.
I think i'll only be needing it on one PC (my mac) so that sounds fine too.
I just get worried about computer stuff x_x; it's costing me alot of money just to get everything I need for the present... and then something new will come out and I can't be without that either.
It's nice and reassuring to know that you guys are here for support! Thanks alot :D
