Anbody have problem outputing from PC to Q321 via DVI?
I am running Windows MCE2005 through GeForce 7600GT via DVI-D cable. Display is auto-detected as L17T (analogue crt???).
Have tried numerous configurations/settings without success, always no signal. Only way I have managed to get display is to use my 19in tft first then hotswap to the Q321 then tweak resolutions - not acceptable.
Do I have a faulty set?

There are a few posts on the avforums where people are using their pcs via the dvi connection and everything seems okay with them. Looks like you've got a faulty set.
I have a similar problem.
I have a 9800 pro, and cannot get the PC to work with the DVI port at any res, and it also seems to detect it as a L17T, and analouge only - it should bring up the digital monitor option in my ATI catalyst control panel and doesn't.
You sorted it out yet at all BeesNees? Or still stuck with the issue?

Many may have read that the DVI port on the graphics card requires the DDC data from the Display device to be correct so it knows what resolutions / refresh rates to run. If the DDC data identifies the product for example as an L17T then the graphics card will not do 1:1 pixel mapping since the resolutions of the devices are different.
To correct this problem it needs a very quick visit to the doctor (RepairTech) we can update the EDID data and solve the problem.
Hope this helps
Mike.

Had my Q321 for a couple of months now. Ive just built a home theatre PC and connected it to the Q321.
Cant get any picture at all over DVI (no signal). D-sub is OK.
Tried 2 different PC's, no joy.
PC's work OK over DVI on my PC monitor.
How do I go about getting this fixed?
Do I request the fix from Novatech?

Mike,
I wonder if you can help me here.
I phoned this into Repair tech 2 weeks ago. But Ive still not got my TV back.
I'm told it was with the engineers last Tuesday (31st October) and has been fixed.
Ive called 3 times since then and each time I am told that it is waiting to be cleaned and boxed.
Its been 2 weeks now without my TV and its frustrating that although it was repaired pretty quickly, its taken over a week to box it and ship it back to me.

I'd like to record my thanks to Mike for sorting this out for me.
My TV is being sent out today.
Its nice to be able to enlist help on a forum such as this, and its to Repairtech's credit that they participate in this way.
Now, does anyone have Bill Gates email address? ;)
