Recently purchased E15, 15.4" Intel Dualcore T2390 from Novatech and today gave it as a gift to a family member. We already have a router set up, Netgear DG834Gv4, where my own personal laptop and my mothers desktop works perfectly. However, the router does not seem to like the new laptop. I set it up with the proper WEP access code, changed the channel on the Adaptor to match the output on the router... But still to no avail. I get a list of wireless access ports and if I access unsecured it can get on the net fine - but it just doesn't seem to like it with WEP enabled. I'm puzzled really. Hope someone can shed some light on it. I've updated the firmware on my router and fiddled about for about 2 hours - not a very fun Christmas Day! :-p
