Haha just found these 2 CPUs when i was looking for a motherboard riser screw.

They do actually, i got the one for the intel one, its got a little fan on it too :P

OMG brings back memories of the 8086 and spectum zx1 days... Oh and my beloved C64 with the tapee drive... I wish I could go back :(

I think we need to bench them =)
If i bring into work 2moro maybe u can bench them for me :P (If you have any Socket 7 mobos lying around.)

My old Intel 486 DX2 never had a heatsink !
Those were the days, when, as the monitor warmed up and the picture slowly faded into view, Windows Program Manager under 3.11 was there waiting and ready.
long time ago :) I remember seeing em with a passive heatsink on them, thats it, but never really got inside many PC's computers around that era - was too busy with my amiga!

i think ive got some socket 7's around.
A k2-500 and a intel p2 200.
