What are your photography goals for 2009?

i think setting your self goals to achieve is a good way to improve. What are your goals for 2009?

for me its - 1 - buy a camera lol. i dont have one any more, i sold it cos i was skint! will probably end up with a s/h DSLR
2 - buy a decent flash or 2 as i never had one before. i would like to try different things in regard to lighting ect
3 - learn more advanced processing techniques. i regard myself as very much a beginner in this area
4 - as always, improve on my photography !


the sooner i get a camera the better, then i could probably add more to this list, now Christmas is finished i can concentrate on saving up some money now.

I do a lot of work with local bands, I have done a lot of work shooting bands while they perform on stage (done at least 40 local bands), my goal now is to start to do some promotional style shoots out and about. It's a very challenging thing to do, but I want to have a go.

I have done one shoot with a band in a studio, who wanted some shots for their website, so some more of that would be cool too.

Wake up Early
Wrap up very warm
Screw on wide angle lens
Take some shots of the breathtaking winter scenery around where i live :) (Wales)
Go home and sleep

I subscribed to the amatuer photography "Foundation in Photography", which is a 3 year course, at the back end of last year. Unfortunately I wasn't able to start work on it in 2008 some am looking forward to 2009.

I'd really like to get some of my pictures on display somewhere, there are a couple of local pubs which show arists of different kinds and I'd love to get some of my work up in them.

To get some good use out of my newly acquired Olympus e410
