I am very nearly ready to buy the 37" LCD TV.

Saw one in the store last Friday, and thought it looked great.
I asked a salesperson if it could do surround sound.
I think he said yes, but I want to be absolutely sure before I buy.

Can it do surround sound?

no its stereo only.

You will need a home cinema amp or sourround sound DVD player / amp + speakers to do this.

Its says this set is SKY HD approved what does this mean exactly.

Does it now or will have HDCP?
