I checked the FAQ, I don`t see a "Forum Tools" above the forums anywhere, I`d like to receive email notification. Plus, I`ve uploaded and activated an avatar, doesn`t show. Any help appd :)

The forums is running new software buddy so there are a few things that need ironing out i think, but the avatar may need you to post a certain amount b4 it allows the avatar but will check it out tomorrow.

You have set your profile picture but not your avatar, user the "user CP" section.

The small Avatar under your name is a simple upload or weblink made via your User Control Panel

Setting & Options
Edit Avatar
1) Option 1 - point to an image on the web (Must have the full Http://www prefix.
2) Upload - click browse and select an image off your harddrive (Obviously there will be a size limit so don't try uploading a 1200x1024 image as a silly example to be your avatar.

To add a picture wrap the URL address in and so you have something...
like... http://www.myurl.com/myimage.jpg

Again the the full https://www is important else the forum will reject it.

The following is a link to display all the BBcode tags here.

http://forum.novatech.co.uk/misc.php?do=bbcode

Hope that helps.

As a side note ;) if the images are not hosted by yourself or on a sevice your signed up to they might have what is called hotlink protection applied - this stops images being used elsewhere and a drain on their sites bandwidth.
