Battery Life

I purchased a Novatech a whicle ago with 1025 MB ram and 1.8 Pentium M CPU .. I was expecting a lot more in terms of battery life after reading reading about the Pentium M processor, I'm lucky if I get 2 hours on battery. I have tried things like switching off wireless and bluetooth if not needed but it doesn't make a massive difference .....

Is there any way to extend battery life to something much better than 2 hours ??

get a better battery
or change the power setting, and clock speeds to make the computer slower, that will increase battery time

Are you saying the batteries supplied with the laptops are poor .. it wasn't really the answer I was looking for ...

they arent poor, they are made for a specific purpose, to supply a laptop with enough energy to do a job, you can get other batteries that can last for up to 8 hours, but they are expensive
