Power on Password - can't change BIOS settings

I enabled the power on password on my 8375x novatech laptop. Now I can't change any BIOS settings or remove the password - I press F2 while booting, type in the password and just get a blank screen. I can still use the laptop, just I want to turn off boot from usb flash drive so I don't have to keep unplugging it to reboot.
