i am tring to setup windows xp pro on my foxconn k8s755a-6elrs motherbord on a raid 0,1 setup i have 4 wd caviar 250gb 16mb 7200 sataII i can wen i have all 4 drives pluged in and set boss to raid and put the sis raid to raid 0 and the sill raid to 1 windows starts 2 instl i press f6 and put in the raid drives windows copies fills to hd and the reboots i repeated it agen but it cant find the hd 2 get past this stage when i unpluged 2 off the hd and left the uther 2 in raid 0 windows went in no problem wen i tried puting in a nuther hd windows woodnt load can u help ty

I am sorry you repeat what, a little confused?

You restart the XP install again???

Try this. Setup one pair of HDD, which ever ones your want OS install on.
So install Raid driver using F6 and then format and install OS to this array.
When this is installed and all XP Drivers are installed. Switch off the PC and then add the second pair of HDD to the system and switch on. Configure the drives array as required. The system then should boot off the drives containing the OS that you already did earlier and when they reach windows it should then find the other pair of Drives you configured and you should be able to then partition and format them.

when all 4 drives are in windows ceape going back 2 cd if i take cd out it cant find any os with ether of the 2 raid setup in sis or silicon window instales but if u the put in the uther raid drives computar cant find a os

can you not go in to bios and set the drive with the os on it as the boot drive?

when integrated peripherals, sis onchip pci device, sis serial ata controller is enabled.
sis serial ata mode is raid i loos all hdd ids in bios
when sis serial ata mode is ide i get 2 hdd in standrd cmos features but i get a erare in loading
