I am experiencing what I am almost certain is a cooling issue with a Nitro laptop bought in January 06.

When playing a game - and once when only watching a movie - the laptop will simply freeze and if I am using the onboard sound at the time, it will also freeze and make a horrendous noise. The only way to return to normal operation is to hold the power button and do a hard reset.

I have air conditioning in this room and the ambient temperature is set to 25C and I have the laptop set on a flat surface, but this still happens after about 30 minutes of gaming. I believe this to be a cooling issue because it seems to be prevented by having a large and powerful floor-fan trained directly on the laptop.

I was wondering if there are any alternative cooling solutions available, such as a dock of some kind with a larger fan underneath, because my arms are beginning to ache from the continuous cold air being blown over them!

I've also got a problem with the screws on the underside which some people have already reported, sometimes I have noticed they're just lying on the desk without the laptop ever having been moved. I wonder how this can be prevented and how it was allowed to happen in the first place!

Thanks in advance for your help.
