Whos in a band?

Currently in a checking out bands mood. Anyone here play in a band?

Im currently playing guitar in a band I set up early last year and originally all the recording, guitars, bass, vocals and drum programming was done by me but now its a full band with actual real members. Its called Funeral Hag www.myspace.com/funeralhag (http://www.myspace.com/funeralhag) some of you may like it and most of you will probably hate it! :D

newp, but all my mates are, well were - they've all managed to do things like get married/pregnant etc in the past year. Was called Bonemachine and they did quite a few gigs down the Wedgies. I'm quite the opposite unmusically gifted.

I think the bass port on my sub-woofer has just sterilised all small animals within a range of about 3 miles... man, that is heavy !

Like you originally had, I have a home studio set-up but due to work I could never be a in band, sadly; couldn't commit to rehearsals, gigs etc. Got a new toy - a Tyros 3 workstation some weeks back and I'm still figuring out most of it, but I'm sure I have some mp3s I can pop up somewhere.

I'm beginning to discover the Tyros is actually aimed at those god-awful 2-piece bands (you know the type.. 20 year old glamour-dolly singer and 55 year old keyboard player !) who do rest-home concerts and organ-based cheeseness in working clubs in Blackpool. However, it can be coaxed to produce some fine noises indeed, especially if you don't have to play it live and just sequence.

The music I've recorded is... somewhat less heavy than yours (!)... but your samples prove you know what yer doing. Good luck with it :D

I'm in a band, we 'were' a covers band called Pathway to which i was the rhythm guitarist / backing vocalist for, now we have had a name change to "The Frontiers" and i have had an instrument change and moved over to drums, we are concentrating on to original material as well.

Currently have 8 Songs completed and have a few gigs coming up soon which we will fill out the set with original material and covers.
