This goes to the Novatech staff.

First part is factual, what mobo is used in the AM2 based Diablo Dual and Quad series pc's?

ok, main part of my query.

If i wished to purchase one of these machines, could i specify that is has a different make of motherboard of my choice.
EG
If it came with the Asus M2N32-Sli deluxe, could i buy this machine with the MSI K9N Sli Platinum M2 motherboard? and if so, would it be at the same price?

Not actually looking to buy at this time, but for future reference it would be good to know if i could do something like that.

The Diablo and Quad SLI systems come with Asus M2N32-SLI mainboard which is based on the Nvidia 590 SLI Chipset

Could you buy it with the the MSI board, well firstly its a step down as that MSI board uses Nvidia 570 Chipset. MSI have yet to release there 590 SLI mainboard. We also don't normally do that sort of thing. Mainly cause if we were to do it, everyone would want to start customising stuff and it gets a bit hectic. We are a build to stock company. Which means building to a specific spec.
Best thing you can do is phone up and speak to our sales team and see if they can do something to help you with this request.

Thanks for the reply Coop

Like i said, its only a theoretical question, as at thsi time i cannot afford a new rig, but as and when i do get a new one, I obviously want parts from a maker that i know and trust, which is what prompted my asking.

I was aware that its a 570 based chipset not the 590 like the asus.
