Just wandering what version softwear you have with this phone and network provider. Been having some random issue of late.

To check on any Nokia *#0000#

Mine is V08.30

If your not on Orange UK but have the same phone, please bang what version you are running and with what network it is.

What product code is your handset ? I think Orange branded 6500 Slides are mostly on V09.40

NSU (Nokia Software Updater) might not have an update as yet , but if u pop the phone to a Nokia Care Point they can flash it up for u :)

It's best not too publisize the product codes.

Im just backing it up currently then will flash it and hopefully it'll work a **** of a lot better.

Bristol aint amazing for NCP's and the ones i have used are very bad more of an epic fail.

Product Code isnt the IMEI , its the code on the phone that starts with 05xxxxx which identifes what branding or network the phone is from.

Of which has been used for fraud before. I need too dig out my SSD thats got XP on it, NSU and NPCS wont run on windows 7, ***!!
