Not from a blue screen as i can't seem to stop my system automaticaly restarting, but from the event viewer where the full crash ones are pretty obvious....

Error code 0000009c, parameter1 00000004, parameter2 80545ff0, parameter3 b2000000, parameter4 00070f0f.

If someone has any idea if this can tell me something i'd really appreciate it, tried a few searches on microsoft but couldn't find anything. Cheers for any help : )

OK, in order to help us a bit. COuld you please give us a run down on your PC spec. Part make and Model please.

Also what where you doing when this blue screen happened.??

system properties -> advanced -> start & recovery - uncheck the automatic restart box.

s754 A64 processor
1gb kingston RAM
winfast/foxconn board with nforce4 chipset
nvidia 6100 IGP
120gb sata hard drive

.....did that a while ago but still don't get a blue screen :?

It's happened at completely random times with no obvious corelation to any particular activity, web browsing, looking through folders, during screensaver, etc.

On a more positive note updating the graphics driver seems to have fixed another problem i was having booting the pc, and the random restarts actualy haven't happened for over a week now. Having said that it'll probably happen in the next five minutes, but fingers crossed....
