View Full Version : Laptop return number please! (no ticket/phone response!)

Hi,

As Novatech aren't replying to my tickets (4 days now) or answering the technical support line...

Please can you action ticket number 1058081 asap regarding my faulty Novatech laptop, so it can be returned if appropriate under the 2 year extended warranty.

I would use the online form, but as I have the warranty, I'm not going to tick the box which says I will pay for the return of the goods....

your original email 1058081 was replied to this morning at 11:37.

all emails that come through the website are dealt with within 8 working hours, however at busy times it could take up to 24 working hours. this is stated on the website.

Thank you for the reply.

However, I haven't received any email. I've just checked my mail server logs (in case it had been marked as spam), but the only mail I've received from Novatech have been the "Thank you for raising a ticket" acknowledgements.

My beloved laptop is now back at Novatech for repair. I was pondering just getting some new screws, but then the thing reset itself about 5 times in 10 minutes (including during boot-up) which is a little excessive.

And I don't really want to start poking around inside when it is under warranty.

Laptop picked up again on Friday, and has been rock solid ever since! CD drive had worked its way loose apparently, and was impinging on the motherboard. Never a good thing.

Processor fan seems to be quieter now too.
