I think my graphics ard has gone up the chute! When i turn my computer on the screen comes on and it works perfect. then When i get in to my desktop once its loaded the screen flickers then goes to standby mode! im unable to get it out f standby mode unless i turn the computer off and on again. It works fine in Safe mode for a little while then the same happens. I have allso tried a differnet monitor

Any ideas???

is AGP write on in the bios
is the card overclocked

No its not over clocked and the temps are normal! AGP is on in bios and its dust free!! worked fine for 4 months.

have you had any knocks or bumps with your computer(checked that it is seated properly)?
have you tried with any gfx card in your motherboard?
got the latest drivers?

yeh the latest drivers are on there. no knocks or bumps that i know of as my case is out the way ov everyhing. and i dnt have graphics built on to my motherboard. i have to put in a seperate graphics card.
I have also taken it out and tryed refitting it to make sure it was seated correctly.

is it possible that my ram could be buggerd! my mate suggested that mite be the problem??

try a different set of RAM, try the RAM as individual sticks first, then try as a pair.
try some RAM that you deffinately know works

I got my 512mb that came with the M/B that wirks fine its when i plug the newest one it it goes ****.

Rekon i can take it back?

is it still covered by warranty, send it back to the makers
or see if customer services will take it back

unfortunatly im outa time they wont take it back so. i gona contact customer services
