Hi everyone,

I know very little about laptops (http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/forums/index.cfm?action=showthread&threadid=350697&forumid=2#) and my wife wants to replace her old one.
We have a budget of £400 max and the programs she mainly uses are,
-Photo shop
-Illustrator (full version)
-Internet
-Emailing
-Down loading music files
-DVD/CD re-writer
Went to the shops to have a look and got lost in the choices.

Any help would be greatfully received.
Dave

Take a look at Dell's website. (www.dell.co.uk)
Under Office -> Laptops -> Vostro

Probably the cheapest (and relatively good quality) laptops around? You can select around since all of the base models are below 400 pounds!

Failing that, the Novatech Axses E15 seem to fit the profile too!

Thats my two bits!

I would avoid dells, had 3 in my 1 year warranty. Never again!
My brother bought a Novatech laptop and much better than my dell's build quality.

Agree with Squeals, the Axes E15 would work, should run PS. If you want to spend a bit more X15 GT is only £35 over your £400 budget (has a better graphics card that could help with PS)
