Format & XP reinstal naff-up

Hello people,

Hope you can help.... I had to format my old 8050D and reinstal XP, alls well 'cept the screen.. eveything stretched a bit wide & poor resolution.
Is this a driver problem? Have already tried changing screen res & colour bit etc..
Max 1028 x 768/32 bit....

Any advice greatly appreciated....

Go to the site manufacturer of the PC and get the latest driver for the graphics card.

Tried that, but keep getting error message, device not installed etc....

You need to install the chipset drivers then grahics drivers. Ignore the windows detection messages.. just run the set-up programs you downloaded. The driver should auto detect the vieo setting. If not, re-boot in to safe VGA mode. This may correct the setting.
