Hello,
Please let me know about any manual or any site for repairing Laptops.
Thank you.
Cost of repairing a laptop these days is almost higher than buying a new one :(
I'd be tempted to keep an eye on ebay for the same make/model and try to buy it, then use it as spares or swap my old HD into it (easiest option)

Unless it's keyboard, HDD or memory related I try and avoid laptop repairs. I've had a lot of dropped laptops brought to me recently where the screens have cracked. People are shocked at the cost of repair but the screens themselves aren't exactly off the shelf products and getting them, let alone fitting them, can be difficult.

He he, I've fixed half a dozen laptops without any manuals or professional experience. (I'm still under 20) You just have to be very careful and remember where every screw you take out goes. The most I've done is replace the CPU and heatsink. That was fun(!)

Thank you very much for your replies.
You are doing great Bob. You will go a long way. Keep ii up. For me its a bit different. I am 59 and not as healthy as i was before. I had blood clot in the brain in 94 and am disabled since than and type with one finger. I did manage to build a computer, though. It took me long.
With laptops, I do not wish to take any risks.

There is no problem.
I live in The Midlands, in Leicestershire.
I went to a computer shop the other day and there were some people wanted to have their laptops repaired and I thought if i could do that but i need
ed some information about repairing and for that i asked the forum.
But now at the moment I am happy with my NOVATECH P4 desktop.
