I have heard of people having to send away the Tv to get the DVI repaired so it correctly works with PC's. Does the current stock by novatech have this problem fixed, or do they still need to be sent away.

I do not know of any issue with the Q321 DVI and PC Connection. Mine works fine.

Very few sets are being returned to us now, so i presume that the problem was localised to a small batch of units.

sorry to jump in the post but I have today tried to connect my laptop (tecra 9000) to the tv using DVI cable..and all I get is a static image image with horrible lines through it (See the putfile links for images of )..the blue bits you can just about see are my desktop background pic..but no icons etc

what is the problem with this? I am enabling display 2 but it just stays like this

hdmi upscaling dvd player from aldi ( which came with a HDMI cable)... I had to buy a HDMI to DVI converter to enable connection to the Q321... but what a suprise there is stlll "no signal" message being recieved..whatever output I try from the DVD I have no signal

= 2 problems I have now!

any ideas?

this has been to repair tech BUT it seems worse!!

I still cannot connect the HDMI dvd player via the HDMI lead (with HDMI to DVI converter )..just get no signal message

Laptop the same...get nothing via vga ...should i be connecting laptop via the DVI?

Also..since it has come back the full scart on the side is being "reported" as H-scart?? In other words I plug a scart lead in (full) and have to select "H-scart" as my source?

starting to get pretty fed up with this now...

how do i check what they actually "tested" at repairtech?
