Wireless internet from PC to Laptop

Hello :)

Our PC is online via Wanadoo (we have a BT line).

I have an old Dell laptop that I want to be online with. Is there something I can buy to plug into my laptop or would I be better to buy a new bells and whistles laptop?

you could use a wireless adsl modem router and wireless adapter (usb or pcmcia).

the router connects to the phone line and can connect to the computer wired. the router can also send a wireless signal to the laptop once you have installed a wireless adapter.

Danno you'd probably know the specs better than me, but i'm sure a while back your USB dongles could function in 'gateway mode', would that not mean that it could be configured so only 2 of those were needed. i mean its not ideal because you'd have to have the one machine that was already connected to the net on all the time for the other one to work. but its a cheaper option for those who don't want to shell out for a router :oP
