I purchased a retail version of Windows Vista Home Premium (from Novatech) and have been using it for about a year now, does anyone know if i'm entitled to re-install Vista to a 64 bit version without having to fork out for a new copy. The reason I want to do this, is I would like to take advantage of using extra RAM, at the moment I have 4GB installed but I would like to upgrade to 8 GB.
Thanks in advanced...

As far as I remember if you are retail you should be fine.
I found this while having a look around for you might be useful to get a genuine 64bit disc.

Should be fine. Infact about to do it later with my oem version. As long as you have access to the 64-bit disk the key should work fine,
