Samsung S224N

Hello all

I got a Samsung S224N external drive around xmas and it was working fine up till last month where i went to use it and it did not work so I checked to see if it was showing on the pc and the drive is coming up as working i also tryed on another pc and the same problem

I put a disk in and the light on the drive flashes for about 20 secs then just gos off and nothing happens and the drive still shows as empty on the pc

i would send it back but i no longer have the box would this be a problem if i was to send it back or would it not matter as it will show on my account that i bought it from novertech

You don't need the box if you wanted to you could contact Samsung via there site I think they offer rma for optical drives like they do hard drives.
