Im building a new system round intels new 'wonder chip' the core 2 duo. Im building it primarily for games and need a PSU of around 500w. It also needs to be of the 24 + 8 pin types as i believe that intel mobos require that now (or is that only for power hungry P4's). What PSU should i get i looked at the enermax liberty but reviews have put me off a bit i would much rather go for Hiper with there smart cable management. Could you please advise...
Thanks

By the way it was the 'eternity pairs' that put me off as apparently they are to close together to be useful. Does anyone know how close together they are??

I have enermax liberty and actually the pairs worked quite well for me in connecting drives and then other bits.
Although they are close people are missing the point. The point is that rather than having one cable with two sata power points on it and then another cable with 2 HDD power connectors on it. They have built there cables with both sata power and HDD power on them. That way you can use one or the other or mix if need be.
You get 4 cables containing 2 sata power and 2 hdd power in pairs with 2 of these cables then slightly longer adding FDD power.
In my case the pair system worked fine.
1 cable i use the 2 hdd connectors to power my optical drives and floppy.
Then i use another to go down to the bottom of my system where the 2 sata power connector feeds my hard drives and then my fan controller plugs in to one of the hdd power.
I guess its just down to personal preference but i like it.

looking around it looks as though enermax are the only ones to do a 32 pin (total) psu!. strange. any1 know others then please tell!
