Hi there all, does anyone know if ITunes will work on a netbook operating Linpus Linux Lite?

Songbird is and its so much better than itunes imo!

It's needed to run an iPhone (sorry, I'm asking on behalf of a colleague...)

She's deadset of Itu8nes above all esle, for some bizarre reason!

As far as i know itunes doesn't have a linux version but it can probably run in an emulator?

Probably not.

iTunes *can* be made to work under Linux - but it means some fairly heavy-duty work on wine (the default wine build will not run iTunes),

So although some people have got it going - this is not a job for the beginner.

She probably doesn't know that other software will do the job at least as well.
