Hello, I hope you can help me.

I recently purchased a Laptop from Novatech, more specifically the Maverick 3000. I bought it just over a month ago and it has worked absolutely perfectly up until now, and I have had no reservations whatsoever in recommending you to my friends if they want top-quality computing supplies.

However, a few days ago, whilst getting out of the car, I knocked the side of my Laptop on the door/side of the car. I only thought the knock was slight, until I inspected the damage. It appears the bottom-left corner of the Laptop, where the green lights are, has completely cracked and dislodged itself.

(If this is not clear enough, let me know and I will try and get another shot of it.)

I thought the damage was only cosmetic, until I noticed that the CD drive was hanging out from the side from a few millimetres, and it is now not uncommon for my Laptop to fail to detect the drive at all now.

Due to the 30-day time limit in which you have to purchase it in conjuction with a Laptop, I was unable to buy the Novatech care-pack for my Laptop, due to uhh... limited funds.

I realise this may cost me a bit to fix, but do you have any idea if I can get the case repaired/replaced and cd-drive problems fixed at any extra cost?

Thanks very much. :)

Yes we can take a look at the unit for you. What costs will be involved cannot really be stated until we have inspected the unit to access exactly what the damage is. We can of course get the unit back for inspection and then quote you on the cost of repair.

Please contact our technical support department for further help on this matter.
