You want the good or bad news?

Good news, fitting a PSU is a piece of cake, unplug it all, unscrew 4 screws, take it out, screw in new one, plug everything back in. 10 mins.

Bad new is you bought a Dell, its unlikley to have a standard ATX style PSU in it, so its unlikely to let you upgrade it. But, double check first, i'm not familiar with the 5000's.

infact, looking at the picture here:

http://www.itcsales.co.uk/acatalog/Dell ... plies.html (http://www.itcsales.co.uk/acatalog/Dell_Dimension_Power_Supplies.html)

makes me think it won't be simple, if possbile.

You may be looking at buying a whole new case, then of course we don't even know if your motherboard has standard atx mounting holes :(
