Hey Novatechies, I was just wondering when do you get this (http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/specpage.html?ANT-TRI12D) product in stock. As i ordered this on the 18th(over a week ago) and it said awaiting stock some due in last friday which didnt happen... then it said they were due in stock today... i check today and it says there due in stock for tommorow... please can you tell me whats going on with this product because if its going to take any longer can i cancel my order to buy another set of fans?
Thanks in advanced:thumbs:

if the website says 'x due today', Novetech's answer: 'we expect them to come in today' ... they can't seem to be able to ask their suppliers if they have shipped their order. You know as much as they do.
I've seen the same thing with dates changing - it seems that Novatech can't give an accurate date, but still like to print one anyway.. giving everyone a false sense of hope. They also only update the expected in-stock date after the 'x due today'... with another random date (from them or their supplier? who knows?). Safer to not pre-order: you never know, you could end up with the same product cheaper from somewhere else.
I can't count the number of times i've ordered something, thats 'been in stock' then it wasn't or didn't arrive when someone said it would, and i'm not talking about Novatech here!! Currently, I have an oustanding order for 5 doors from Wickes, I wanted them delivered, ordered them in store, they were on the shelf. Delivery doesn't arrive, go back to store, the instore ones were sold, next delivery date passes... 2.5 weeks now not expected for another 2 weeks... grrr. Not amused.
Most companies don't give a due date, just an in stock or not in stock, ultimately x will tell y, it's going to arrive tomorrow, y passes info to us, x runs out of stock or forgets to send, whatever reason, we blame y. We should be blaming Novatechs supplier, who will in turn blame Antec! i'd say around 50%-75% of stuff *i want* arrives when it says it will, then usually something else has gone out of stock :( Would rather have a semi-accurate guide about expected stock than none at all.

I do agree that it's not wholly Novatech's fault, but surely they're in the best position to be able to ask their supplier what's going on, especially when their cutomers (i.e. us) are asking?

Hi,
All of the dates we have on the system (and displayed on the website) have come directly from our suppliers. If our suppliers let us know that something is going to be delayed in advance then we always ensure to update the due date on the site accordingly.
BUT... what usually happens is that we are told they have shipped and should expect them on date x. It get's to 3 - 4 o'clock on day x and we phone them again and ask them if we can expect the goods today. They tell us the goods should be with us before close of business, yet still they don't arrive. In which case we contact them again the next business day for an explanation and a revised date. We always attempt to provide the most accurate information we can, which is why we have live and realtime (and above all, accurate) stock levels on our site unlike a lot of competitors.
If we ourselves are given incorrect information then we can only pass on what information we have... and please believe me when I say we speak to our suppliers and couriers on a daily basis trying to keep our dates accurate.
