OK, one of the items in my basket was discontinued and was automatically removed from the basket. That appeared to work right.
Unfortunately whenever I try to remove an item from the basket myself it removes it and then the message about the discontinued item pops up again and then the item I removed is put back. I've tried this on two seperate computers and it happened on both of them.
The only way to rectify this was to go into my cookies folder and remove all the novatech cookies which completely emptied my basket so I could at least try again.
Definately needs sorting though...
