Just interested in your views of a CPU block for the i7, I currently have a D Tek Fuzion V1 and have been told it's a bit dated so whats the new king of the road?
Swiftech GTZ, Fusion V2, Aqua computer (cant remember model off the top of my head) Tbh i think your V1 Fusion will e fine with the i7 hold down plate.

I was going to use it with the hold down plate but I can't find one anywhere in stock so I thought I would buy a better block.
I was going to get one of these: EK-Supreme CPU - Plexi Universal Inc i7 (1366)
How do they stand up?
I doubt u will see any difference whatsoever.

Hey Kim
The problem with the likes of FuZion and Swiftech GTZ is that they were made for 775 so most manufacturers took the easy option of slapping a new mount on there and calling it i7 ready which theoretically it is but from what i understand, i7 doesn't need all this impingement and is much better suited to a free flowing laminar type blocks which is why i ended up making my own using a Danger Den MCP Chipset base.
Size wise, its much better suited to core i7, plus much more free flowing so much less restrictive........having said that, trying to get hold of one in the UK isn't easy.

I know that I've been to your shop and many others, there's a merket there for sure.

Well, I have heard mixed veiws about the Luna block? is it?
I would go for the XSPC Delta V3, very good, block, while also being around £10 cheaper than the GTZ etc, however, has gone up in price recently........
