I need to know which Laptop will suit my needs. Basically all I need is a big hard drive with a high speed modem. Any ideas???

well what do you wanna use it for because msot come with large hard drives and have 54mb wireless for connecting to a adsl/dsl router for internet access.

Also dude, you state 'high speed modem'. do you mean high speed internet? or litterally just a modem? i think most have both anyway, but it might help the guys nail it down to the right one.

High speed Internet is what i really require. the Revo 420 Pro has 512MB memory & a 56k Internal Modem - does this mean i can have a high speed internet access?

Also I have an internet connection on my PC and would require a Router for the laptop, is this hard to install?

ummmmmmm....give them a call dude, make sure you get the right thing.

a 56K modem, will only give you..well.....56K - so probably not what you need if you want 'hi speed'.

If you are going to be sharing a current broadband connection (ie via a router, you would need to use an ethernet or wifi connection via a router).

Your best bet would be to post what your setup for internet connectivity currently is, and then work from that.
