I have one of your ISYS machines, PC-0935T and no sound.Order # 2481253

It came with the WIndows XP CD and Foxconn CD,I loaded WIndows Xp and ran the complete Foxconn Cd including the drivers for Audio.

Sounds and Audio on the COntrol Panel says "No Audio Device", DEvice manager does not list any Sound Devices.

This morning your guy suggested running in Safe Mode, uninstall all the SOund and Video and rerun the Foxconn CD, then restart. Before we did this Device manager was showing Sound Devices as installed and working correctly.

After the restart, no sound devices showing.

I have Windows media player and that will show video with no sound.

I have been trying the help phone line since 4:30 but no response. The lady tells me you are now closed at 17:25...

Any ideas

Cheers

check to see if sound is enabled in the bios,

bash the delete key repeatedly when starting the pc until you get the blue screen, usually 2nd 3rd or 4th choice from the top left will mention AC97 or audio, possibly within a menu called "on board devices" see it to on, save settings and exit the bios, and then you should be able to see your sound card :)

Under Device Manager in the section

Sound, Video and Game Controllers.

If you click the little + sign next to it, it will expand out to show a list of things.
Can you list everything you have in that section. Or better yet if you can post a screen shot so we can see your device manager
