Hi.

I have a problem with XP Pro, that I think is an easy one. Since reinstalling Windows, I now have the problem with my keyboard. If I press Shift+2,because I want the quote sign, I get @. If i press shift+' because I want the at sign I get ". Also other keys are swapped, and the pound sign (shift+3) comes up as #.

I'm aware that this looks like I have it set up for American settings. Now, how do i get it to how it should be?

Or at least change US to UK once, not 4 times as I did and it still not work, until i find the 5th hidden place.

Why the technolgy isn't there to detect what keyboard you have plugged in I don't know. Everything else is there these days.

Or you could always hold down ALT, type 64 on the numeric keypad, then release ALT :)
