Hi all,

I have a 4 pc, 2 latop and two network printers set up at home (geek I know!) but its all cable. I work in IT and happily hardwired my house but have only glanced at wireless. Now that I have a house move coming up for about 2 years away from home, I am unable to cable my new rented accomadation. Enough of my life story......here is my problem..

My new place is BT ASDL, which is currently connected to my wifes PC and network printer. I want to have 3 PCs upstairs and need to go wireless. I will buy a wireless network router for downstairs but for upstairs I don't want to buy 3 sets of pci cards. I was looking at an access point so that I could just use the ethernet cable connections. As one of my systems is linux and another solaris, I would like the wireless hub idea. Now I'm not sure what to do or buy so any advice is welcome.

I would like to think that I could do this for about £120 with the minimum of fuss and items , so in a perfect world would I be able to connect another wireless hub device to my wireless router

Look forward to your replies...

ok look around a bit, ive seen some huge packs with like 2 or 3 wireless cards in and a wifi hub, i cant remember where i saw it, i dont think its on novatech, also if all of the pcs are going to be accessing the net at same time dont skimp on the hub, u want a relitivly good one otherwise it will just slow down sooo much, (had this problem with my old school, had to rewire that classroom with my own kit, technitions wernt to happy but it got the job done... LOL) but yea

Many thanks,

Looks like I can use my hub and I only need one pci card or usb wireless dongle.

Cheers
