I can't remember what I used to download it. All I know is that it isn't in my room anymore (can't find it!)
On a seperate note to this, looking at your signature, Steven... Why do you want 8GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive? Your money would be far better suited on a new graphics card!

possibly does a lot of image work and games rarely ? does seem somewhat unabalanced but I guess that's pc's for you. we all get the benefit of picking and choosing what we require to suit our own ends best

Nah, no one ramped up the price... MS is a US company that sells in dollars.
Was ~£105 back in the day when Exchange rate was 2.0 (aka $210)
Now with the dollar dropping below 1.4 in recent weeks... that same $210 from Microsoft = £150.
**** economy.

Went up way before the pound started dropping in value, and it wasnt a steady thing either, just jumped up £50 overnight

Ahh I see Steven. Maybe start a thread asking for some advice? I'm sure plenty of members will help you decide on what's best for your rig.

Vista Ultimate x64 Edition here.
Had it as part of Technet. One of the best operating systems I've used. I do like Windows 7 but the refusal to not have the classic start menu in there is very annoying for me.
