HI,
Can anyone explain the readings I'm getting from CPU-Z. As I'm sure you know the i7 940 multiplier is locked @ 12 lowest, power saving to 22 max. All set by useing Ai utility.

holy ****.....thats a remarkably low cpu speed....are you seeing any change to the speed of your computer? and when you start up new programmes is that frequency changing at all?

Hi Baggpuss,
It only shows this reading in CPU-Z for a about 10 seconds, the Ai utility still reads x12. Think it maybe a bug/prob with CPU-Z

It is a problem/bug with CPU-Z and it's not just you getting it either :)
You'll have to wait until they do more testing and update it.

Hi moogle,
Thanks you for letting me know, as you must know by now my muliplier is locked at 12min, 22max, the max reading sometimes go's up to 23x only in CPU-Z, so thought it was likely a bug.
